Okay, it was pretty quiet when I went on Sunday, so maybe not the best for people-watching, but the inside is really something else! So much cool art and comfy spots to sit. It made working on my laptop super pleasant.

I've traveled the Philippines from Manila to Mindanao and my wife is Filipina so I do speak with some knowledge of Filipino food. The lumpia rolls could definitely win the world's smallest lumpia roll contest. The mango juice may possibly have been hand squeezed as they claim on their website but it was extremely watered down and tasted more like Kool Aid. On top of that the food was delivered to the hotel I'm staying at and no straw was included for the drink. Other than that the Sisig bowl was good.

Ordered delivery via Uber Eats to my hotel. Best breakfast I've had in Chicago! Longanisa egg sandwich was heavenly with a wonderful blend of spices and textures. Adobo chicken bowl with spinach was super tasty too with some sort of jammy boiled marinated egg (would have been even better had I remembered to add sauce) and garlic rice. Strong solid coffee. Mango juice. Iced Tea. Hashbrown was just ok. Highly recommend!

This cafe has a wonderful interior with a lot of seating options. I am a fan of Filipino cafes and was excited to try this one out. I ordered the ube matcha, and they were out of the mango and strawberry matcha. Iβm unsure if this is because I went on a Saturday at 10:30a.m., but they may be out of certain flavors. The latte had a mild flavor of both ube and matcha, and if thatβs what youβre looking for then I recommend trying it out! If not, then try a different Filipino cafe in Chicago. I didnβt get a chance to try the food, and was honestly a bit confused by the menu. I wish they had the food menu also posted instead of a QR code to ease the process of looking at options. I did not realize they had other food options besides baked goods until after I ordered and looked online. Also, there was some confusion about what baked goods were available bc they were crossed out on the menu (see photo) but the cashier told me they had everything available, including the banana bread, until she checked in the back. Overall, had an okay experience here.

We got a variety of silogs, rice bowls, and lumpias for takeout. They were all delicious. We were a party of 10 and essentially sampled everything from our order. I wish we tried them fresh while they were still hot. Even my vegetarian friend really enjoyed the vegan chorizo rice bowl, which I appreciated their vegetarian/vegan options. We got the huge order picked up right before dinner, and the staff were very friendly!
